What I learned:
- Tempera paint chips off really quickly and easily if I don’t seal it as soon as it dries.
- I should seal each of the parts individually before assembling the earring. That way, the parts won’t stick together awkwardly (and peel off the paint). *cough cherry earrings cough*
- If I paint tempera paint on raw clay, wait for it to dry, and then apply liquid clay (TLS), the paint will “set” into the clay, and I won’t have to worry about chipping! Definitely going to try this next week.
- I should probably consider selling on Etsy. I might be able to raise prices there because everything is…super expensive. It’s pretty flexible, and I can determine my own store policies. The only thing is that I’ll need PayPal…which means I’ll have to ask dad for help.
- People might be willing to buy other things, like charms too. Though it hasn’t exactly worked out in the past, it might work out if I do a pre-order type thing.
- Some people are actually willing to buy my stuff LOL SUCCESS.
